\n\t\t\tTHIS IS HOW YOU CAN HELP<\/strong>\n\t\t<\/h1>\n\t

Water For People was built by volunteers and we still rely heavily on their support. Volunteers conduct outreach in their communities, raise funds, and provide technical assistance for Water For People. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to learn more about our work.<\/p>\n

We are always looking for new volunteers to help us advance our mission. <\/p>\n

Also as a company, we are available to receive university students who wish to carry out their professional internship in the organization. We will be happy to open our doors and help you on this adventure.<\/p>\n

The only requirements needed:<\/p>\n

    Join a committee<\/h2>\t\t\t\n\t

    More than 50 local committees across the United States and Canada support the work of Water For People through community outreach, advocacy and fundraising. Volunteering on your local committee provides a space to work together with like-minded people to help end the global water crisis. <\/p>\n\t\t\t

    Register with the World Water Corps<\/h2>\t\t\t\n\t

    The World Water Corps is made up of Water For People technical volunteers. If you are a water or sanitation professional, we can use your experience to help our teams around the world solve technical challenges on the path to reaching Everyone Forever. <\/p>\n\t\t\t

    Recognition of volunteers<\/h2>\t\t\t\n\t\n

    The Kenneth J. Miller Founders' Award was established in 2001 by the Water For People Board of Directors to honor outstanding volunteers for their service and leadership in advancing the mission of Water For People. The Miller Award is presented annually to extraordinary volunteers selected by Water For People committees and Workplace Giving partners.  <\/p>\n\n

    The Robert W. Hite Outstanding Leadership Award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated active leadership to benefit others and supports the mission of Water For People: someone who inspires a shared vision, is forward-thinking, and truly envisions a world where all people have access to drinking water and sanitation facilities.   <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
