\n\t\t\tLet's talk about scale<\/strong>\n\t\t<\/h1>\n\t

In Honduras, Water For People has sparked a national movement For everyone forever<\/strong> (PTPS), locally called by the same name.<\/p>\n

This movement is made up of eleven NGOs (including Water For People-Honduras) that signed an agreement to work for total coverage in 30 municipalities, to build a model that can be replicated at the national level.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"PTPS\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"Honduras01_SanAntonio_EscuelaElLanillal_20190619-94\"\n\t

The movement hired a national-level coordinator in 2013, based in Tegucigalpa, to provide vision and support to the movement, as well as coordination with the national government. The two main institutions of the water and sanitation sector of the national government (SANAA<\/a>–<\/strong>CONASA and ERSAPS<\/a><\/strong> ) have signed between the partners and the movement is now operating from the CONASA offices.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There is also greater influence on the Association of Municipalities of Honduras (AMHON), which has signed an agreement with CONASA to provide greater support to the water and sanitation sector.<\/p>\n\t

The PTPS movement also guides the development and implementation of SIASAR (a monitoring tool that has been adopted nationally for the sector), with a focus on how to institutionalize monitoring within municipal governments through WASH institutions at the sector level. district; which the movement is also actively trying to create and strengthen.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"Honduras_Sp\"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
